Active Events

While your event is active, we retain all associated data including RSVP responses, guest information, and event details to provide our service effectively.

Event Expiry and Data Retention

Events expire after their designated period (1 year for basic events, 2 years for premium events). Our automated system manages data retention as follows:

• Expiry Warnings: We send notifications 30, 14, and 1 day before your event expires
• Event Expiration: When your event expires, it becomes inaccessible to guests but your data remains available
• 30-Day Data Retention Period: After expiration, you have 30 days to download your data from your dashboard
• Progressive Deletion Warnings: We send reminders when you have 14, 7, and 1 day remaining to download your data
• Data Archival: After 30 days, your data is automatically archived and removed from active systems

Archived Data

Archived event data is securely stored for 6 months to assist with any technical issues or disputes. After 6 months, archived data is permanently deleted from our systems. During the archival period:

• Archived data is stored in secure, encrypted storage systems
• Access is restricted to authorized personnel for legitimate business purposes only
• Archived data is not used for marketing or analytics purposes
• You may request access to archived data by contacting our support team

Account Deletion

If you delete your account, all associated active event data is immediately removed. However, any previously archived data follows the standard 6-month archival retention period.

• Download your event data before expiration
